Some pages and app requests returned errors
For about 39 minutes, some page loads and app requests failed. If you were already using the app or the site you were mostly unaffected. It is fixed, and we have improved the check that should have caught it sooner.

Some sign-in attempts were turned away
Our protections against automated sign-in attempts were active for several hours. During the busiest period a small number of genuine sign-in attempts would have been asked to try again. No account was accessed and no personal data was exposed.
